St. Katherine's Lutheran in Võru

Our first venture out of Tartu was to Võru, where I found another church to photograph.

St. Katherine's Lutheran Church.

This church was built in 1793. It is a pretty cool little church with a long sign outside showing scripture quotes.

I asked the person we met there whether one of the words on the sign was the Estonian word for Genesis. She didn't know.

Nope...not terribly religious.

I never did learn the word for Genesis.
