I was very sad to depart Estonia last July after three years in that beautiful country (and not coming close to finishing my goal with this blog of photographing all the churches there. It just means I need to go back!).
After one year at FSI studying the Albanian language, I have begun my next tour as Public Affairs Officer in Pristina, Kosovo.

Thanks for all the great photos you have here. My grandmother was born in Laugo in the the northern part of the Island Oesel (Saaremaa) and her family went to the church in Karja. I had an album of postcards with photos of the island but gave it to a relative and it has since been lost. If you have any photos of old homes or places on Saaremaa they would be very interesting to see here. Tanks again for a great site.
